About Me

Rehabbing Writer: I used to be young and passionate and full of boundless energy. Now that I'm older I've become cautious, tired and generally resigned to a life of middle class routines. That's not to say I don't enjoy my averageness - I love my husband and three sons. I look forward to waking up everyday and seeing their smiles and hearing about their latest adventures in great detail. I am grateful to have a job that pays well enough to pay the bills, but constantly think about finding "something else" that will engage my mind and maybe my heart if I'm lucky. However, my dream is to write, professionally, and that would require a BIG risk on my part which I am not yet ready for. These days I rarely make time to write as an amateur and so I hope this blog might help fix that. I don't sky dive or stay out all night (anymore), everyday is at least slightly different than the one before and occassionally I even manage to change things up completely (and briefly). In general, I'm a lot like the vanilla ice cream that everybody likes for its consistency while complimenting just about anything you plate next to it.
